According to police the man who called 911 to report that his family had been killed is the one responsible for their deaths. On September 4th 2009, at 6:45 PM Investigators with the Glynn County Police Department sought and received arrest warrants for Guy Heinze Jr., age 22 in connection with the murders and criminal attempt to commit murder that occurred at lot 147, New Hope Mobile Home Park in Glynn County, in the early morning hours of August 29th.

He has now been charged with 8 counts of first degree murder in the deaths of eight people, including seven family members. He is also charged with the attempted murder of a 3-year old child, Byron Jimmerson, the only survivor of the massacre at Lot 147, New Hope Mobile Home Park, Brunswick, Glynn County, Ga. The child is still recovering at a Savannah hospital.
"Mr. Heinze denies playing any role in these murders and he's been cooperating with police and will continue to cooperate." said Ron Harrison, Heinze's attorney.

Dead family members (and their relation to Guy Heinze Jr.) are:

  • Russell D. Toler Sr., 44 (Uncle)

  • Russell D. Toler Jr., 20 (Cousin)

  • Chrissy Toler, 22 (Cousin)

  • Michelle Toler, 15 (Cousin)

  • Michael Toler, 19 (Cousin)

  • Brenda Gail Falagan, 49 (Aunt)

  • Guy Heinze Sr., 45 (Father)

  • Joseph L. West, 30 (Chrissy Toler's Boyfriend)

3-year-old Byron Jimmerson, Chrissy Toler's son, survived the attack. He is still recovering at a Savannah hospital.
"We did not suspect him all along. It's the most heinous crime in our community, I think we all know that" said Glynn County Police Department, Chief Matt Doering. "I can assure you that this person is responsible, and that's the best information I can give you." said the chief. "I know the community wants answers, but I'm not prepared to give much more than that," he added.

Police Chief Matt Doerring

Police Chief Matt Doerring, at a news conference Friday night, said a judge revoked Heinze’s bond after police consulted with him on new evidence. He said law enforcement received two pieces of information Friday that led them to re-arrest Heinze, Jr. but he cannot comment on any specific information or evidence that led to the arrest.  Doering also will not reveal the official causes of death.

A news release on the Glynn County Police web site indicates the arrest was made both on physical and, what they term testimonial evidence.  Doerring says he must protect the integrity of the investigation and that the probe is very much ongoing.

Glynn County Coroner Jimmy Darden said that police found the murder victims in beds and on the floor of the home. He said the victims had been there overnight Friday before Guy Heinze, Jr. made the 911 call on Saturday morning.

Twins are Half Brothers

Mom with TwinTwins with different Dads

In order to understand the title, here's a new term for you....heteropaternal superfecundation. What it means is that, Mia Washington, the mother of 11-month-old twin boys, was having an affair. The twins have different fathers.

After noticing physical facial differences between the two boys, Justin and Jordan; Mia Washington and her boyfriend, James Harrison, decided to take a paternity test. They went to Dallas DNA Lab Clear Diagnostics.
According to the paternity test, there’s a 99.999 percent chance Justin and Jordan do not have the same father, and zero percent chance they do. The lab has never seen this type of result, nor do they expect to see it again.

“It is very crazy. Most people don’t believe it can happen, but it can,” said Clear Diagnostics President Genny Thibodeaux.

When twins have two fathers, doctors call it heteropaternal superfecundation. It’s so rare; there are only a handful of documented cases in the world. Washington admits she had an affair that resulted in two babies, born at the same time, fathered by two different men.
“Out of all people in America and of all people in the world, it had to happen to me. I’m very shocked,” Washington said.

The medical marvel can happen when a woman releases multiple eggs during ovulation. If she has more than one sexual partner within the same time period, sperm cells can fertilize two separate eggs.
"Sperm can survive up to five days inside a woman's body, so a woman could sleep with different men several days apart, and get pregnant not once, but twice."

In the case of the Texas twins, there was never any health threat to the babies during the pregnancy because they were fathered by different men.
“It’s not a baby issue since they had different placentas,” Dr. Finkelstein, a Manhattan obstetrician, explains. “The two babies are totally separate entities. Babies can have different blood types even if they have the same father.”

Washington wants people to know she takes full responsibility for her actions.
“I’m trying to let everybody else know: Don’t put yourself in my shoes, because it can hurt and it does hurt, but you still have to go on with life,” she said.

James Harrison said he’s forgiven his fiancé's infidelity and has vowed to stay with her and raise both boys as his own. However for the record Jordan is James' son. Justin's father is someone else.
“It’s a day by day thing. It’s going to take time to build that trust like we had,” James Harrison said.

Washington and Harrison also have more news:
“Five months ago we found out that I was pregnant again and our new baby is due to arrive in the autumn,” she told the Daily Mail. “Right now I’m fully committed to taking care of my family and making sure their needs are met. I can guarantee there’ll be no questions raised this time around.”

Boy Lives with Dead Mom for 10 Days

8-Year-Old Trinity Tipado could not figure out what was wrong with his Mom. Everyday for 10 days he tried to wake her up but she would not respond. Trinity's mother, Gaynell Tipado, 41, was dead.

Gaynell Tipado apparently died Jan. 9 in their apartment in the Detroit suburb of Romulus. Tipado, a Louisiana native, was a survivor of the hurricane Katrina in 2005 and had moved with her son to Romulus about three and a half years ago. An autopsy into her death is pending but the police do not suspect any foul play was involved.

According to authorities, 8-year-old Trinity Tipado survived in the apartment with his dead mother by eating dried rice, butter and flour. When supplies ran out he would make trips to Romulus Liquor Store, about a block away, where he and his mother had been shopping regularly for about a year and a half. He would buy milk, chips, candy and bread and pay for them with cash.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtUuxwDRhcU]

Layth Saco, who co-owns the store with his brother Sam, said the boy made four trips in a week to buy supplies. He said he was curious why the boy came in by himself and asked about his mother. On his fourth trip to the store, Trinity did not have any cash and presented his mother's driver's license and an expired credit card to pay for $34.80 worth of grocery items — including nacho cheese dip, a package each of processed ham and turkey, hamburger buns, milk, doughnuts, soda and candy. This peaked Layth's curiosity even more.
He asked the boy if he could speak to his mother. "Is she alive?" Saco asked the boy.

"She's in a better place," the boy replied. He also said, “I tried to wake her up every day. I wanted to talk to her.”

"I sat him down, gave him chocolate milk. Then I called Romulus PD," Saco said.

Police arrived and took the boy home. They called Saco about 10 minutes later to tell him the boy's mother was dead. They questioned the boy and found out he was home-schooled, had no siblings and his father had died several years ago.

Police said that with his father dead, along with his grandparents and now his mother, he worried that he would have to go out and live by himself.
"In his little 8-year-old mind, that's what he came up with -- that's what he was afraid of," said Romulus Police Lt. John Leacher. "Your heart just breaks for this little boy."

"It's sad. It's very hard. It's very unfortunate for him," said Layth Saco, 36, a father of three young children. "I just feel bad. What he had to see for 11 days.

“The things he went through,” said Sam Saco. “I’m shaken. I’m almost about to cry. I’ve been thinking all night about the kid.” Sam said he felt guilty he had not called the police earlier.

Trinity was placed in foster care, but fortunately the police were able to find his aunt and uncle. Tipado's sister, Verna Lemieux and her sister's husband came up from Louisiana after police notified them of her death. When reached by The Detroit News, Lemieux's husband said they were still making arrangements for Gaynell Tipado's burial as well as measures for caring for Trinity. The family has requested privacy, for now, despite an outpouring of support from people wishing to make contributions.

Calls continue to flood the Romulus Police station from people concerned about Trinity. The boy is currently in foster care.
"I've had calls from all over the country from people who want to adopt him on the spot, sight unseen," Leacher said. "I told them there was a lot of officer support but right now they just want to get some time to grieve their losses."

Saco said he already turned away hundreds of dollars from customers because he hoped to set up a fund for Trinity at a local bank. He said he called at least half a dozen, but none was willing to help.
"Nobody wants to do it, because we're not a family member," Saco said. "A lot of people are giving me (money). I keep turning these people back. I would have had $200 for the poor kid by now."

Saco, having no success at finding a sponsor, finally relented and put a donation box in his store.
"I'm going to do whatever I can," he said. "I don't want to bother them (Trinity's family). They are probably miserable."

Parents of Adolf Hitler to be Evicted

Heath, "Adolf Hitler" and Deborah Campbell

When Heath and Deborah Campbell complained that their local ShopRite supermarket refused to decorate a birthday cake with their son's name, little did they know how much publicity they would receive.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj_nYdBKbag]

They could not understand why the supermarket would not put their son's name - Adolf  Hitler - on his birthday cake. They could not understand why naming all three of their children after Nazi names was such a big deal. They could also not understand why everyone thought they were racists just because they had swastikas all over their house. They really did not understand all the negative publicity they received. And one more thing - they don't know why New Jersey’s Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) came and removed all three children from their home.

To be fair to the Campbells DYFS has not given a reason for removing the kids from the household. DYFS cited privacy concerns and has refused to provide any information about the case. DYFS did however say that they would not remove children from their parents just because of their names. A recently scheduled court appearance has been postponed, reportedly at the request of the parents, to give them time to find a lawyer.

In the meantime Heath Campbell is hospitalized due to stress and his wife Deborah gave the following interview:

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrF6FgP_KeY]

Mr. Campbell had at least two of the children’s names legally changed in recent months. He dropped his son’s original first name, Antonio (Adolf and Hitler had been the middle names), so he is now Adolf Hitler Campbell, and fixed his daughter’s birth certificate to correct the spelling of “Aryan.”

The Campbells’ neighbors described a family living on the fringe, financially and socially. Mr. Campbell, 35, and his wife, Deborah, 25, do not work and receive disability payments for emphysema and neck pain, respectively. Their landlord, Larry Lippincott, who shares the two-family home, said the family is often up all night.
“I hear the kids playing at 2:30 in the morning and the TV on,” Mr. Lippincott said. “He told me he was a night person and didn’t like to do anything during the day.”

Mr. Lippincott said he had decided — before the cake incident — not to renew the Campbells’ lease when it expired in November because, he said, a relative they frequently argue with threatened to “firebomb the house.” He expects to begin eviction proceedings soon.
“They’re not destroying anything, the house is clean and they pay their rent on time,” he said. But, he added, “There comes a point when you say, ‘Enough is enough.’ ”

Adolf Hitler Removed From Parents Home

Heath, "Adolf Hitler" and Deborah CampbellAdolf Hitler CampbellAdolf Hitler Campbell and Mom

3-Year-Old Adolf  Hitler Campbell and his two younger sisters JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell were removed from their parents home by New Jersey’s Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), for unknown reasons. Kate Bernyk, a spokeswoman for the DYFS, said confidentiality laws barred her from commenting on the case or even confirming that the Campbell children were involved.

Little Adolf  Hitler Campbell gained national notoriety when his father, Heath Campbell, tried to order a birthday cake with his son's name on it. The local ShopRite refused to inscribed the name "Adolf  Hitler" on the cake, claiming that the name was offensive. Heath, who has named all three of his children after Nazi characters, eventually got the cake engraved with his son's name by a nearby Walmart.

Why the children were removed from the Campbell house remains a mystery. Sgt. John Harris of the Holland Township Police Department says, as far as he knows, there have been no problems with the Campbell family.
"I’ve dealt with the family for years and as far as the children are concerned, I have never had any reports of any abuse with the children," Harris said. "As far as I know, he’s always been very good with the children."

Even though DYFS spokeswoman, Kate Bernyk , would not comment specifically on the Campbell case she indicated that there was good reason for removing the children and that the action taken was in consultation with other pertinent authorities.
Speaking generally, Bernyk said the state's "decision to remove a child is based on the safety and well being of the child and the risk to that child, and that decision is made in conjunction with the courts and the county family court judge."

"DYFS would never remove a child simply based on that child's name," Bernyk said.

Whatever the reasons for removing the children, Heath Campbell, 35, and his wife, Deborah, 25, have an appointment in court to deal with this matter. Forensic psychologist N.G. Berrill said naming a boy Hitler could be considered child abuse.
"Part of it is the infantile nature of the parents’ behavior," Berrill said. "You can name your dog something weird, but they think they’re making some kind of bold statement with the children, not appreciating that the children will have separate lives and will be looked at in a negative light until they’re able to change their name. It is abuse."

The Campbell house is a monument to the Nazi's. There are swastikas prominently displayed in each room of their home. They say they aren’t racists but believe races shouldn’t mix. Heath says he named his son Adolf  Hitler because he liked the name and because “no one else in the world would have that name.
